I'm presently between jobs, and collecting unenjoyment. I've worked as a skilled tradesman for the past several years. My father was a skilled spray painter for over 30 years, and school bus driver for the last 12 years of his life. My mom was an electronics assembler for over 10 years, before moving to retail after the NAFTA act. They taught me the value of being part of the modern workforce. Thanks to them I have skills in Carpentry, Cabinet Making, Spray Painting, and an excellent work ethic....Now, I've recently been laid-off due to the current economy. I've been getting quite restless lately, like many of you out there. This blog is opened in the spirit of the american workers, who have made us the great nation we are today. "GOD BLESS YOU ALL"....

With all the crappy news out there I realized many of us have no where to share our views. People between jobs or worse, aren't exactly talking on the Today show. I know it's very depressing and frustrating being in-between lives. Most people don't realize that our careers/jobs define part of who we are. When we lose a job, we lose part of our self -value. It's never easy to go through, and I've been through it a few times now. I want to here from you out there, who are going through it too....Talk, say how you feel, share it with someone else. Times might be tough, but we still have value.......What do you have to say???
